I do understand that every one is waiting for latest court case hearing on this issue, I am also waiting eagerly.




LATEST UPDATE:
AS YOU ALL KNOW COURT HEARING IS IN HIGH COURT NOW, I AM YET TO RECEIVE THE CASE HEARING NUMBERS ETC. I WILL KEEP UPDATED THIS BLOG PROBABLY BY NEXT WEEK.

I AM WAITING FOR COURT CASE HEARING AND NOT REDEEMING BOND AS I DO NOT HAVE URGENCY OF MONEY.

ON YOUR BONDS YOU CAN TAKE DECISION WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.

    Hi,
    I also have one Bond. And I was unaware of all these happenings.
    Today my father said that the Bond is matured on 11/1/14 so let us approach them.
    I am not able to contact them.
    Do you know how to contact them. What is the redemption process ?
    What is the current status ? Are we going to get the 50K or 111K ?

    I surrendered Bond. Sent them Docs by Speed Post. Delivered to them on 13 Jan 2014 and got cheque (even after giving NEFT Details) of Rs 45360/- by Speed post to me on 23 Jan 2014, yet to get it cleared from Bank. The bond was in name of my Father who is Individual, an Govt. Employee having Gross Salary 5.69 Lacs per Annum. They charged TDS of Rs 4640/- from Payment. Is there any way to get Refund of this TDS. This Bond was bought in 1993, I guess there was no policy of TDS in 1993. Now Govt. is deducting Taxes from everywhere. I am so dissatisfied with both Government of India and also Gujarat Govt who eated Our Bonds Money in 2008.

    Ek taraf to Asharam jaise logon ko karodo ki jameen deti hai sarkar, aur middle class par har prakar ke tax mar rahi hai. Kuch samay baad khana khane aur shochalaya jane ka bhi tax dena padega shayad...

      On sardar sarovar site, you can get redemption form and From 15G/H if claiming tax exemption.

      You need to send DOCS to MCS Limited in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

      Complete address in forms at their website.

      Docs you need to send are, Original Bond Certificate, redemption form, NEFT Form, Cancelled Cheque, Form 15G/H (If Applicable).

      Send by Speed Post. Please keep photocopies with you, especially, of bond certificate and Speed post receipt...

      Yaar you peoples don't want to do even little Hardwork. Anyways, You will get 45,360 Rs if you redeem the Bond now as Individual and not claiming Tax Exemption by Form 15G or 15H.

      You need to send Documents for Redemption to following Address by Speed Post (prefered over Registered Post, as Its traceable online)

      Send Documents preferably in A4 Size Laminated Envelope (for safety against water in transit)

      Documents need to send were below

      Redemption Form (can be found at http://www.sardarsarovardam.org/assets/SitepagesDocument/SPD__Userid2_20120229_151540.pdf)

      Original Bond Certificate (Keep photocopy with you)

      Form No. 15G or 15H (given in redemption form PDF link) if claiming TDS exemption

      Cancelled Cheque of same account, you giving in NEFT Details

      PAN CARD COPY.

      These are Documents for Individual. Some other documents will be required for special cases, like Bond is Mortgage to some company, etc...

      Sign of Back of Original Bond Certificate with the words ‘discharged for redemption

      Keep Speed Post receipt copy with you. Keep photocopy, as the original copy got typing removed after some time...

      I had faced such problems earlier. If name is slightly differ from your actual name, than your bank where you get the cheque clear will consider, after taking your ID proof.

      Sometime back, After selling an property my father get DD in favour of R Y Singh only. I get it cleared from HDFC Bank easily without proof.

      In an other case, i get an DD in favour of Harsh Singh, while my full name is HARSH Pratap Singh. I get it clear from HDFC Bank after submitting my ID proof with DD and Deposit slip.

      Hi Harsh, My father name printed on Bond is Jagmohan Singh Bhatia, while on Pan Card & Bank a/c its Jagmohan Singh. will they send the cheque, as there is difference in name.

    my dad bought this bond when i was small,currently i am studying and now my family is going through financial problems as my mother passed away last December and my dad is going through dialysis.my bond matured on 11th january2014 with an amount of rs 1,11,000/-,so i wrote an application and posted it to their address,expecting they would revert back,but i am so depressed that they didn't even reply to my issue.Kindly guide me and add me in the list as well..i am in urgent need.

    I complained to SEBI who forwarded it to SSNL who replied me that matter is subjudice and requested me to submit the bond and get Rs. 50000.

    Now i am thinking that i shall sent the bond to SSNL and if case comes in our favour then we can ask for extra amount because in the letter sent to me from SSNL they have mentioned that after the court decision the matter will be settled as per verdict.

    When is the probable date of court verdict. I've bonds and i think i should get them redeemed through sebi now so as to ensure to get the rest of the due later on at the time of court decision.

    I've got a client who is holding SSNNL bond. Actually, he bit confused about what to do with it now. Should he redeem it now for Rs.50,000/- or wait until the court order to get the promised amount ?

    Hi All,
    As I see the moderator of this site is inactive since last 3 months and he has not given any update on the stand of court on the sub judice matter, I would say that we too should try to find out some other way ourselves. I cant believe none of us here are not practicing law. I have tried searching the case name and found it as (though I am not sure) : 'JANPATH EMPLOYEES P.F.TRUST Vs. UNION OF INDIA & ORS. - Writ Petition (Civil) No. 4 of 2009. Can anyone who practice law, get us the information about the status of the case. Or atleast let us know how to get the status of any case so that I can look more into it and let you all know.

    The Supreme Court has put Mr. Subrata Roy of Sahara in jail even though no investor complained against him. Here is a case where thousands of bond holders are complaining but no action seems to have been taken !

    I study this matter and order of Supreme court . I am of opinion that a holder of bond must file writ petition before Gujarat high court with the prayer that the petition will be heard with old pending petition.

    I have send my bond to MCS ltd. No reply no pay back. This big mouth pm was the Gujarat cm who is the one made that law in Gujarat for early redemption in 2009 that I was not aware until 2014.He is corporate manager he will squeeze each and every penny from poor and mid class and pump into corporates asses

    Hi,
    I also have one Bond. And I was unaware of all these happenings.
    Today my father said that the Bond is matured on 11/1/14 so let us approach them.
    I am not able to contact them.
    Do you know how to contact them. What is the redemption process ?
    What is the current status ? Are we going to get the 50K or 111K ? If I reedam then after court decission I got Rs. 111K?
