Update on Sardar Sarovar Nigam deep discount Bond

HELLO DEAR ALL FRIENDS,



THIS BLOG HAS MADE 35000 PAGE VIEWS.

AS YOU ALL KNOW THE MATTER IS MOVED TO HIGH COURT NOW.

I WAS WAITING , WAITING AND WAITING TO HEAR FROM HIGH COURT WHEN CASE WILL BE LISTED.

BUT EVERY DAY I HEAR UPDATE THAT, STILL CASE IS NOT LISTED IN HIGH COURT. IT'S ONLY WHEN LISTED IT WILL PROCEED.

JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE NOT DELIVERED IN MY OPINION.

 I CALLED UP SEBI TO KNOW THE LATEST, THEY SAY CASE IS MOST FAVOR IN GOVERNMENT AND IT'S BETTER YOU GET THE AMOUNT WHATEVER THEY GIVE NOW THAT IS 50,000.

I TOTALLY PITY ON SARDAR SAROVAR NIGAM DEEP DISCOUNT WHO HAS CHEATED ALL OUR BOND HOLDERS HARD EARNT MONEY.



SEBI AHMEDABAD OFFICER SAID IT IS BETTER YOU GET THE AMOUNT WHATEVER THEY GIVE NOW.


I WILL UPTO YOU TO DECIDE SENSIBLY.
POST QUERIES IN COMMENTS IF ANY.

AT END OF THE DAY, I FEEL VERY SAD ON THIS MATTER.

    Hi,
    This blog is very helpful to get the relevant information regarding SSNL. Thanks. I have send the requisition letter 2 months back but I didn't received any form or any reply from MCS. I am afraid, if I will send the original bond, there may not be any action on it. Is there any number of MCS or mail id, on which we can send the query or followup after sending the original bond certificate. My mail id is pranavprasant6@gmail.com

      It's Modi ji whose Govt decided for the premature closer of SSNNL bonds. He knew how to reach the common man for their votes but did not inform the bond holders appropriately about their decision to premature closer; most of whom are not Internet users.
      I felt it was only my dad who didn't learnt Abt the 2008 verdict of Gujraat govt but I learnt through this blog that there are thousands of holders still awaiting their money. And this is the only page giving you latest on SSNL bonds. :(

    Does anyone have any idea about how long these bond can be redeemed before they got to the treasuary? What I have heard is that it becomes even a bigger problem in getting the money from them.

    As the maturity date which was originally fixed to 11th Jan 2014, though Gujrat Govt under the Hitlary dictate of state Govt redeemed compulsory in 2009. s such you will not receive any appreciation after 11 Jan 2014, Only 2009 to 2014 appreciation is possible due to Court Decision. Hence lodge your Bonds for under protest claim to what they are giving , reserving your rights to claim the balance not paid after the favorable decision comes from the Court .

Folio No. SN 577872 Certificate Nos. 620111 Issue Price Rs. 3600/- Face Value Rs. 1, 11, 000/- Date of Issue 07.01.1995 Date of maturity 11.01.2014 . Till the date no response received.       In your case looks like you need to talk to 9327055153 - Mahesh. you can write him email . he will reply mcsahmd@gmail.com. you need to be bit clear and crisp while writing email to him. he's from the same office what i have given in above link.

    I wrote to MCS Ahmedabad that I have 2 Nos. DDB of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd.and I have not redeemed til Date.23/06/2015, I want to redeeme it after Court Judgement of High Court Gujarat (as the case is pending ) or may i redeeme DDB for Rs. 50000/- with objection & subject to Court Judgement ?

      Thanks for post. I also redeemed and got 50,000/- amount.
      but, one thing is not clear to me in your post. how should we redeem with object and subject to court judgement. is this applicabel to already redeemed bond person also? can you please explain. so it helps others.

    Redeemption Process -
    DEEP DISCOUNT BOND OF SSNNL. – FOR DDB BOND
    Please note that the scheme is under redemption w.e.f.10/01/2009 i.e. at the end of 15 years with redemption amount of Rs.50000/- per bond certificate, instead of 20 years. Please send original Bond certificate /s of face value of Rs.3600/- OR Letter of Allotment duly discharged by all bond holders on the back side of the certificate ( any where, colomn does not concern) along with copy of pan card and bank details of 1st bond holder and Form No.15 G in duplicate copy as amended (new) from 01/04/2013 for redemption. Further please note that if you do not submit copy of pan card, 20 % tax will be deducted . If you submit copy of pan card no. and Form No.15 G, tax will not be deducted subject to the holding up to 4 DDB Bonds under one folio. If you are holding more then 4 bonds under one folio, Form No.15 G will not be applicable and 10 % tax will be deducted, subject to submission of copy of pan card no.. Redemption amount is Rs.50000/- per bond certificate, subject to deduction of tax. After receipt of documents fro redemption, redemption warrant will be sent to you in physical form at your address within one month. Please send all documents only at MCS Share Transfer Agent Ltd, 201, Shatdal Complex, Opp. Bata Show Room, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad – 380 009. Please note that copy of pan card no.of 1st bond holder is compulsory. If there is any change in your address, please attached address proof. Please upload procedures and forms from our website www.mcsdel.com.

    I have purchased10 ssnnl bonds in year 1993. I have send the bonds in original at your office i.e. NARMADA BONDS SERVICES PAYMENT DEPARTMENT C-2476, SL-1 GURGAON-122009 for payment on 14-08-2015 by speed post . I have not received the full maturity amount, only a sum of rupees 42, 000 has been credited into my bank account through icici clearing on 20-08-2015. kindly inform us the actual maturity amount of our bonds to be credited to our account.
    My DDB Certificate no- 521662
    Distinctive no of 3 bonds are 548798 to 548800 [Bimal khanna]
    Distinctive no of 2 bonds are 548792 to 548793 [Renu khanna]
    Distinctive no of 5 bonds are548801 to 54805 [Tripti khanna]

      Dear Tripti Khanna,

      I'm bondholder like you who has maintained this blog to share the information and to help ourselves.

      I had sent my bonds to address MCS Limited, 101, Shatdal Complex, Opp. Bata Show Room, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad – 380 009 and i also got the money within one month.

      But looks like you sent to some other agent which i'm not aware. It's unfortunate that he has sent you only one bond money. you need to contact his office by taking his office number. I read in internet this person whom you have sent the bonds have not sent the money. hope you are not cheated. Please try to call them by taking their office phone number. if nothing works you should visit their office.

      Overall per bond you should receive 50,000/- rupees.
      since you are saying 10 bonds, that means 5Lakhs rupees. If you submit copy of pan card no. and Form No.15 G, tax will not be deducted subject to the holding up to 4 DDB Bonds under one folio. If you are holding more then 4 bonds under one folio, Form No.15 G will not be applicable and 10 % tax will be deducted, subject to submission of copy of pan card no. ATLEAST YOU SHOULD GET 4,50,000/- RUPEES.

      hope this information helps you.
